A freebie I got at this year's HealthX. Not too shabby for a freebie.

So bunch of grad students from my department and myself went out for a dinner before going out for a movie. We walked down to Newmarket and went to this joint Crazy Noodle Bar on Kent Street. It's an Asian joint, I've never been here before and so I ordered one of my favourite dish Singapore Noodle to test the place out.

It's been 7 years... What was I doing that day? I turned up at work, doing something I cannot remember, maybe some experiments in the morning. My colleague told us excitedly that he heard that a plane flew into WTC. We thought it maybe an accident. Then a little later the second one. It couldn't be an accident. Then we were told to evacuate and go home. That was around 11AM. I managed to get a lift from another colleague, but... He wouldn't go home until his work is done. So we left around 5PM. What a day. Had a little difficulty calling back home to tell my family that I'm alright. On another 9/11, 4 years later, my friends Drs KT and YT and myself went out for a Korean dinner, and all three of us got struck down by that raw oyster dish. That was my first ever foodpoisoning... Anyway.

Well. Yeah. I went to Papaya again... With my student yet again. The cashier lady recognized me and greeted me in Japanese. Maybe I'm frequenting this joint way too often in a very short period of time. I am going through the menu... And I had a pork kimchi don plus grilled salmon onigiri while my student had a katsudon.
Oh well what can I say. Enjoyed the lunch muchly and it came to about NZD10/person which is about USD7 or so at the moment. Very reasonable for what you get.

So I was looking up what "qualitative research" was. I was reading this article that did a"qualitative research" on disease victims by following them up during their recovery. I turned to Mr. Google as usual for such matters then was referred to Mr. Wikipedia. Then this.
I guess it's true when they say don't believe everything on Wikipedia. This I guess was a prime example.
